KKCenterHK Nail Decal Review

Hello everyone :)
Today I have a review for you all! A little while ago I was contacted by Maggie from KKCenterHK asking me if I'd like to review some of their products. obviously I jumped at the chance and went searching for a product :) I finally settled on some Water Decals and of course they had to be Hello Kitty!  Here's how they came to me...

 

The above picture shows the sticker sheet after I'd cut some out, I was so excited! :P This sheet contained 24 stickers of Hello Kitty in different poses etc. they are so cute! I decided to choose a coordinating colour for my nails and painted them purple...

 I used three coats of Ciate Purple Sherbet as my base for all nails except my ring finger which I used China Glaze Octa Gone Wild.

I cut out the stickers I wanted to use after I'd painted my nails and removed the top plastic sheet tha covered them. After this I ran them under some water and left them alone for a few seconds. They then would be easy to remove from the backing paper, I picked it up with my finger and positioned the sticker onto my nail easily and then added top coat to secure the sticker.

These Water Decals are seriously the easiest things ever to apply, they took me around 30 seconds to remove the top sheet, wet and apply to my nail. I'm so impressed by the quality of them and will definitely be buying more in different designs. I highly recommend that if you want quality water decal stickers in many designs to check out KKCenterHK :)

Island Girl Insights Blog Swap

Hello everyone :)
Today's post is about Island Girl Insights Blog Love Package Swap (check out the blog - http://islandgirlinsights.blogspot.com/)  that I've recently taken part in. I got paired up with a lovely lady named Chacoy :)
We chatted a lot about the kinds of things we'd like to see in our packages, Chacoy was wonderful to shop for and I also learned a lot about her which I thought was great as in swaps you don't really get to make that connection. So hopefully me and Chacoy will swap again sometime :)
Anyway, here's what Chacoy sent me and my son! :)

Here are my sons gifts first. A cars 2 stamping set (which he stole and played with straight away :p) and some wild life expanding animals :)

Here's the polish part of the swap. Sally Hansen nail art pen in white. OPI Last Friday Night (which is a huge lemming of mine!!!) and a mini Bon Bons polish!

I have a huge love for Hello Kitty so obviously I was very excited when I saw these in my package! Also, check out the gorgeous handmade bracelet!!! :D

Overall, I was very happy that I took part in this blog swap. It was nice to make friends with a lovely lady and also to receive a beautiful package as well as send one off. I really enjoyed the whole experience and I would definitely take part again :)

Secret Santa :)

Hello all :)

Just an update post really about the Secret Santa we've been doing over at the Polish-aholics Anonymous group on facebook. I sent out my parcel last week to the lovely Joy Cozart - http://okaynowjoy.blogspot.com/ (You can see her post on all the goodies I sent her over on her blog) I also received my parcel yesterday from Emma Hoop...

When I opened the box and saw all of these goodies I honestly couldn't contain myself. I had to literally make myself take photo's before tearing into everything :P She also included a beautiful hand written note explaining all the polishes which I thought was lovely :)

There was a $15 dollar limit and I am honestly amazed at the stuff you can get for that price in America as $15 dollars is roughly £9/10 in the UK and polish is a lot more expensive over here. I loved everything. I got Milani Gems, Milani Hi-Tech, China Glaze Skyscraper (Which was a huge lemming of mine) and a white glitter snowman :) She also threw in a Hello Kitty Xmas tree bauble which I am in love with :P I also got a cute stocking and a lovely pink nail file.

I absolutely loved taking part in this years Secret Santa and will definitely be doing it again next year :)
